Benadryl + Rogaine Combo Therapy

I started using Benadryl Gel 2% and Rogaine foam 2 days ago… I am hoping for the best but not sure what will happen.

Im using Benadryl because it is a antiflamattory and Rogaine because it opens your blood vessels up and is a diuretic…

So my thinking goes that Rogaine may increase the efficacy of Benadryl and stop my body from attacking my own hair.

I will keep you upto date…first step would be to see if my hair is shedding less…and than if I am growing new hair in the next few weeks.

I put it by the way just once a day at night before bed.

Also… I would really like to know if anyone of you guys have heard anyone do this or if you think this may work?

benadryl is a anti-histamine. anti-histamines are mentioned in follicas patent as something to help hair growth. in my opinion you will probs just get slightly better results to minoxidil on its own but keep us posted :slight_smile:

K it has been 18 days on this therapy… I have been doing it not everday as I had planned but still do it once every two days…

Within the first week I noticed that the hair that was shedding was considerably lower…and now into the third week its about 2 or 3 dozen follicles when i run my fingers through my wet hair in the shower… That is way less than about 100 + I was loosing …all this is just a lot of estimates and nothing definite…

But what will be definite is if in about the next few weeks if I see my thinning and balding crown get covered up… Any thoughts by the way?
