Hi, I will be starting a family soon and have been taking Avodart ever since it launched. I read and found that it does not really matter as long as the pregnant mother never consume or touch Avodart. But I also read that for me taking it there might be some concerns about the drug in sperm. Am I right?
So if I quit is there any other stuff I can take to substain my low DHT level yet at the same time safe in making a baby? Be it topically or internally. Please help. Thanks!

Unless you’re the one getting pregnant I don’t see taking avodart can effect your offspring.
If want to get off avodart you can always use propecia (finasteride). Not as strong, but still very effective.
