Any long term body hair results?

Although some look good, many of the BHT pics from 6-12 months don’t look impressive to me. Does anyone know of examples where BHT has shown great improvement after the 12 month mark?

Thank a lot for any help.

I’m three years out from my initial 300 graft BHT test (thigh hair).

It’s been well over two years since 1000 leg hair grafts were used to “repair” my older HT hairline.

So far so good!

I had no idea they could use body hair for a hair transplant. Very interesting are the results any good?

Sofarsogood, I can’t believe I actually overlooked your progress. Had no idea you were that guy from the video. You’ve achieved great results in my opinion. A few questions…

a) With all those strip procedures, how did you manage to squeeze in the scars?? Are they all over the place or were they combined into a few after the strip was removed?

b) What’s the total # of grafts you’ve received to date breaking them down into strip/fue/bht.

c) Are there ANY…ANY…ANY…ANY scars on your legs or white bumps or ANYTHING from extracting the hair???

Your link is so long I need and will sit and read it all…very elaborative and thanks for that. Very helpful.

Sorry for the delay mj,

Happy New Year.
Yep, that’s me in the video and I am very happy with my BHT repair.

As for your questions…

My head-hair grafts are extremely long, so no strip scars are visible.

Over a foot long. It is very easy for me to tell what’s BH and what’s head-hair. The legs hair grafts are about an inch long, tops. No one else would blink though, IMO. The leg hair perfectly blends and makes a nice, soft transition to my head-hair grafts.

There are two scars. My first doc managed to squeeze down one scar 16 times, pretty well but if I buzzed my head, it would be obvious. My second doc gave me a second scar. but it’s not too bad. But both have stretched, IMO. In the future, I’ll ask Dr. U. to use beard hair to “repair” them.

In all, I have about 500 minis, 1000 micros, 3000 FUs and 1000 leg hair grafts to the hairline.
There are NW 5 and 6s all over my family.
Been on Propecia/Minox for 18 years with no noticeable sides.

NO scarring on my legs at all that I can see.
And living in SoCal, I wear shorts ten months out of the year.

Hppy New Year,
josh

Just went to your journal and read the whole lot. Awsome results.

No worries and Happy New year to you too. Thanks for the elaborative reply, it helped a lot.

When choosing to extract body hair, how does the location of body hair to be extracted from derived? I mean, does dr Umar decide which part of the body to use for body FUE, does the patient, or are there scientific reasons for choosing certain body parts for body FUE?

Dr. U. plotted my repair course.

Having had so many strips and considering the decent quality of my BH, he recommended I use leg hair to soften my hairline.

I would imagine, fine head-hair or nape hair would be the first option however he decided to save any head-hair donor I may have left for any future needs.

I did provide a picture of the hairline I was hoping for.

But in the end, I followed the doctor’s plan and it worked out well in my case.

Thanks for the kind words regarding my result.

Ciao.
