I posted my case sometime back on the board but it got lost and I can’t find it anymore so I’ll repost my case again.
I am a 25 year old male looking to do FUE hair transplants to fix my hairline. I’ve been on propecia and minoxidil since I was 20. With propecia, my hairloss has more or less been stable. I believe that I am a very good candidate for hair transplants because I have very dense and thick donor hair at the back. I know that many of you are concerned that 25 is still a relatively young age to go for hair transplants but I am more than well aware that hair loss is a progressive condition. I am also prepared to go for further sessions in the future should I lose more hair.
Attached are my pics. I’m need recommendations on FUE hair transplant doctors (preferably in Asia) that specializes in hairline transplants.
Can you get to Europe? Based on your posting of your meds, age, and pics, you look like a relatively prime ht candidate. In other words, I think you will do fine with FUE… fill in the recession and build a new hairline. You should be ok in the right hands. Are you open for any travel? Off hand I can’t think of an FUE guy in Asia.
Depending on what part of Asia you are located, you can try Dr. Arvind in India or Dr. Woods in Australia.
Dr. Arvind has posted more hair transplant patient results in the forum than any other doctors in the world. Dr. Woods and his sister Dr. Woods-Campbell, on the other hand, are the inventors of FUE and Body Hair Transplant.
25 years old is a bit young, but I think either doctor will have no problem taking you as a patient as long as your goals are realistic and not too aggresive.
Email me at hairsite@aol.com and I can arrange a consultation for you with both doctors as well as others if you want.
» Or if you want to do a little travel. You can’t go wrong with Dr. Bisanga.
Why such a huge endorsement for Dr. Bisanga? I have only seen a few FUE results from him so far. There is no way he’s a bettr FUE doctor than Dr. Woods.
I think the hairline is the most difficult and tricky part of a transplant and I think very few doctors in the world have expertise in that area. Who are the best doctors when it comes to hairlines? Advise plz. I think Armani and Bisanga.

You shouldnt let geography determine where you get your HT performed. You will probably regret it in the end.

The further I travel, the more cost it’s going to involve…

You have Dr. A right in your continent. He has the most results worldwide from all types of HT surgeries, has taught other doctors here and shares his knowhow.
He should be your starting point, IMO. Most likely, he will be your natural choice.

I think you are a good candidate for fue. Not sure where in Asia you are based. Im based in Tokyo. Often ticket prices not just depend on distance but popularity of route. I flew to LA for a few hundred dollers from Tokyo for example, where as to fly to India which is part of Asia, would of cost me thousands at the time. I wouldnt base my transplant Dr on Geography though. Better to save a bit longer and go to the Doc you think is the best. I dont know of any good Asian fue Drs. Thats not to say there arent any.

Hi hairwhereiwantit,
I have decided on Dr.A after factoring all factors including cost and distance. He has a pretty impressive track record and I believe I have made the right decision.
Looking at your pictures you sure don’t look like you’re balding and certainly don’t require 3000 grafts! Why is your hairline still red and sore after 3mths? Does it take that long for the recepiet area to heal?
