As I mentioned in a recent thread, I’m almost 10 months post op from a fue by Dr. A. I’ve been on propecia/proscar 1.25mg once daily for over 3 years now and I’m using rogaine foam twice daily. I was on msm for about 6 months and I just stop taking it a few months back.
I had around 3100 grafts placed in my hairline as well midscalp. Around 2100 grafts were placed in my hairline, I did not lower my hairline. My goal was just to strengthen what I had.
I have grown my hair out in a shaggy fashion to conceal and hide that I had any work done. As long as I keep my hair down no one can tell I had a HT. If I try combing my hair back is where the problem is. My hairline is quite weak in general mostly on left. I know I’m only 10 months out but I find it hard to believe it will fill in 2-3 months…I spoke to my clinic about this and now I should wait 18 months. From what I learned and was told 12 months is fair benchmark as far as results go. Anyway check out my blog. Thanks.
