OK so this is my hair looking the same after 8 months. I haved off the vellus about 6 weeks ago and it grew back and halted, so I know the DP is somewhat alive. I dropped the Chromo/Indo for a few weeks and nothing changed, if anything I began to lose a few hairs. Now I am back to just Minoxidil, Chromoglycate, and Indomethacin. 'My personal experience as with a few others I know that the chromo/indo stop hair loss fast, and make scalp less oily. However it does not regrow hair. The cloprostenol and ramatroban I just cant tell if they make a difference or not but it has been a while and nothing regrown. I really think we are on the correct path with PDG2 inhibition and I plan to continue the ID products since they at least keep me from losing hair. Alec
a whole lot of peach fuzz.
if you had the top of your head sticking out in a box of peaches at a grocery store… it might be mistaken for one.
unfortunately that peach fuzz is not turning into terminal hair.
thanks for sharing and keep up with the regiment.

Ditto about dropping the Chromo/Indo and starting Ramatroban. I think my hair is thinner now…which calls into question my decision to switch. The thing is, the science suggests Ramatroban should have been a better alternative. My experience so far suggests otherwise. But, I’ll give it more time.
imo the chromoglycate and indomethacin are the most effective
That does appear to be the case. Not sure why something that allegedly blocks the problem is less effective than something that allegedly interferes with the problem, but that seems to be the case so far. I bought two bottles of the Ramatroban, so I’ll use both before switching back just to see if things take a change for the better. I definitely like the fact that the Ramatroban goes on and is undetectable, whereas the Indo/Chromo are very greasy. I hate to go back to the greasy stuff.

Alec, what do you base that on?
Maybe you need to add Prostaglandin/Latanoprost, read about the claims that Latanoprost can prolong the anagen phase of the hair cycle, perhaps this is what’s missing in your regimen
I used Cloprostenol which should have same effect as bitomprost. I was doing great on just Indo/chromo and Minox then added Ramatroban and cloprostenol without any success. In my case the chromo/Indo totally stop my hair loss but not regrowing anything noticeable. maybe we need to focus on fgf9 for regrowth.
Hey Alec,
Have you noticed any or an increase in acne where you apply your topical pgd2 inhbitor? I am asking because Pgd2 has been shown to increase sebaceous gland hyperplasia and inhibit hair. It could give us an idea if the pgd2 inhibition is working like its supposed to. Thanks.
no acne at all. I really like the chromoglycate/Indomethacin combo, that is what works best for me. I might start back on dut to see if I can jump start hair growth. I do not understand the whole process. I can shve off vellus and they come back as vellus. However if I transplanted a hair from my chest into my scalp it would grow like a normal hair on my scalp and grow long. Its puzzling.
I recommended microdermabrasion to you few months ago. Wounding is something that Cotsarelis has been looking into as well. IMO, the benefit of better scalp health alone is good enough to try it out. I’m not suggesting an all out dermabrasion session at a clinic, you can get Neutrogena at-home microdermabrasion kit - which has no downtime, I think if you do that every few days, combined with copper peptides daily, that’ll improve the condition of your scalp. Honestly, I don’t see any downside to it.
