Alan bauman 5000 grafts with EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTING RESULTS!

I had 3 HT with alan bauman with extremely disappointing results and a total waste of money. alan bauman took me for over 20 thousand. When i requested a refund he refused. Also he refused to take any responsibility for the lack of results. He did nothing but make alot of lame excuses. I was shocked. I thought i did good research on bauman but found out the his affiliation with IAHRS means nothing.

You should write a letter to the head of IAHRS, Spencer Kobren, and request a refund. Either the IAHRS means something or it’s just a fancy name to help doctors obtain patients.

Unfortunately it’s the latter.

This is very unclear. Some more info would be nice. For instance my first question would be, why go 3 times if the first first & second times were failures? Money lost is a huge issue here, but theres no value placed on donor hair. It’s priceless.

This seems to be a recurring theme with Dr. Bauman’s patients. Bauman must be the best salesman in the business, if he can make someone go back 3-4 times despite shoddy results.

post more pics before and after and more info on your story. i’ve never heard of that HT doctor, but anybody offering $4 per graft i’d be leary about when some of the top docs (on this site) aren’t offering anything near that even during a recession.

Prospective patients need to start looking for red flags. I considered consulting with Bauman. They viewed my pictures and wanted to charge me $100 or something close to that figure for a consultation. I asked myself what kind of person after seeing and reading what has happened to me by this industry would charge me that much just to look at my head. I had the $100 that wasn’t the problem but did I want a clinic with so little compassion for others operating on my head.

If you are a prospective patient and you get the slightest hint of the clinic having no compassion, run for your life because that is certainly one of the red flags one should look for.

I definitely would not recommend you consult with bauman. Looking back i see several red flags . I wish i had noticed them before . All 3 HT he had a totally different staff. Also i agree i should not have returned after the first HT. The reason i did is because bauman is very convincing and the before and after pics looked better than i really do. Tonight when i get home from work i will post pics to show the difference.

You ever heard that say “never get stung by the same bee twice”? You got stung by the same bee 3 times.

It must be devastating for you to experience all this. Sorry dude, I really wish you all the best. Hop on meds asap if you can. The big 3 right away.
