Advice on HT by Dr. Cooley

I am thinking of a HT procedure done Dr Cooley. He has been working with ACell and PRP for a while now and seems to have an impressive record. I want to get advice from members here. Any reason I shouldn’t be considering Dr Cooley for the procedure?

He doesn’t have any results where acell shows improvement, make sure you do a LOT of research, I have seen pictures where acell was used by him and the scarring was terrible.

ACell helps in reducing the donor scar and healing quickly. Do you remember what the pictures you saw were virgin HT patients or patients who were trying to repair their earlier scars? There is only so much ACell can do for repairs I think. Can you point me to the pictures?

Do you know of other doctors who have results with ACell? How about Dr Hitzig?

From the results I have seen. Acell seems to soften the scar tissue causing to stretch even more. There is a chap on another forum who had an HT with Cooley with Acell, the scar stretched and he went back for a revision, the scar stretched again, and now the nutter is going back again for another revision!

I don’t know that much about Hitzig tbh, but I’m sure if you google it and search all the HT forums you will find info on it.

Having had a few HT’s myself (more than 2 less than ten!) I wouldn’t let Acell near my head ever. It wasn’t even developed for humans in the first place, in Europe it can’t be used on people, only animals.

If you are worried about the scar then I suggest avoiding strip removal fullstop.
