good question

Are you sure it has formed a scar? I am not expert about these things.
If it has indeed formed a scar, then yes, it is bad news.

yes, but its still healing.

forget about horses, cats, dogs, etc.
They are furry animals, we don’t know how deep their wounds were, we don’t know how much the wound contracted while healing, we don’t know if hair grew in the contracted tissue, or in new tissue.

So, I propose to stick with Dr. Jones experiments. He is doing it in real guys, in scalp tissue, and with wounds of known depth. He is posting almost live coverage of the results. And he is acting under the advise of Acell themselves, so I am confident that he will obtain the best possible results, in this first experiment, or in the next ones that will hopely follow.

What more can we ask for?

I think that, if Acell can work, Dr. Jones will make it work, sooner or later.

i think the logical first step should have been on a tightly sutured wound to see how if it healed scarless, this shouldve been the next trial, the latest pics dont make me optomistic, unfortunately, as its almost 3 months

» » Are we sure that by ‘growth’ Jones is talking about hair? Could he be

»
» no, he’s not talking about hairs… he’s waiting new mushrooms, inside the
» scar.

funny, but hair doesn’t grow that fast, he’s a hair doctor, he should know, he might very well be talking about growing new skin rather than new hair.

It’s a good thing that someone is serious about showing results, even if this turns out to be not what we want, I want to thank Dr. Jones and the patient for being our guinea pig and for posting good quality photos in the blog regularly. This is way more than what other companies are willing to do.

THUMBS UP for the efforts!

started a new thread…

I doubt that any hair will regrow in his scar region, but I’ll be pleasantly surprised if it does.

What I really wish Dr Jones did was to cut out a small section of skin which has permanently growing healthy hairs, apply A-Cell and see if the region gets restored to its original state (with hair resuming its normal growth).

I have a gut feeling that it would work and that really would be the cure to baldness (at least for those with a good donor area). I wish someone who lives near Dr Jones would volunteer himself to try this since this is what we’re really after.
