Acell & Follica Are Theoretically The Same Thing

Both Acell and Follica first require a “dermabrasion” of the skin. Acell then puts a powder into the “skin irritation” and Follica injects drugs into the “skin irritation.” And poof, both claim to be able to grow new skin and/or hair.

Umm . . . what?

Neither company is claiming much of anything yet. Folica has filed some obscure patents but released no photos on humans and made no concrete claims that it works. Acell hasn’t even done that much to claim it’ll work for hair loss. Acell has done little more than said “give it a try” when MPB sufferers wrote letters asking if it would help on their own. Everything else has been a bunch of stuff that we’ve inferred by reading these companies’ public information.

The drugs aren’t the same thing either. Acell is ramping up the natural healing response. Folica is chemically tipping the balance of certain processes towards creating new hairs instead of other glands.

Saying both processes are the same thing is like kind of saying Minox & Propecia are the same thing because they both counteract hair loss.

And give it a try we will.
The important thing to realise is that unlike Follica, ACELL will be trialed on humans NOW. Follica don’t even know when they will begin trials. At least we will know soon if ACELL works on humans or not.
There must be something here for the US military & Jones to be willing to give it a try. Let’s wait & c what happens.
