Very ambitious to cover a norwood 6 with almost 8000 grafts, this was done over how many session? I don’t supposed all done in 1 visit.

Dear damraak,
The procedure in this patient was carried out in 2 separate visits (though we have instances of similar number of grafts or more performed in a single visit).
He visited us for a 3rd procedure to further fill up the vertex crown areas as his hairloss has progressed over the years. The pictures show results of 7928 grafts.
Procedure details-
1st procedure : Total 3961 grafts (3102 strip FUHT + 859 beard grafts) in 2011
2nd procedure : 3965 grafts (2075 scalp FUSE + 1890 beard FUSE/fue grafts) in 2012
His 3rd procedure carried out in March 2014 was 3114 FUSE/fue grafts (1326 scalp + 126 nape + 1662 beard grafts).

it is quite regrettable that no after pictures of the crown are shown. If nearly 8000 grafts were placed only to the frontal area, then this result is not very impressive to be honest.

Dear Hairman2,
Hairloss as well as hair restoration should be viewed as a dynamic process.
The results shown here cover a large area of hairline, frontal and vertex of the scalp.
As the patient lost more hair over the years, the crown now needs transplant. If you see the video, you can make out the crown swirl area and also the entire previous restoration.
