Yes, they have nailed HM just when they were begining phase II.
They are planing on a US market release in approximately 2,629,743.83 minutes!!
They kidnapped the FDA and hog tied them in Washenik’s basement to prevent them kicking up a fuss.
The photo results of the trial were extremely positive, they show that it can grow you 3 whole hairs, who ARI say combined with a Bosley HT will offer cosmetically significant coverage to even the baldest nw7!!

They are still doing the trials…no more news. If there isn’t any good news from Intercytex in few weeks from now. I’d say forget hairloss sites for a year or two.

Wait for Follica to complete its trials on wounding, which should be soon. You should get a lot better idea of timelines then!
As soon as there is news on anything to do with hair loss it will be put up on this board straight away! So there is no need to keep asking.

There research study is probably already done. Nonetheless, Dr. Cotsarelis in his recent interview said that it’ll be 3-4 years. So as far as I’m concerned, Folica is also out of the picture for a while. Unless, a new contender surprises us all (Thomas Whitfield??), our only hope now is a good news from Intercytex.

I spoke with Dr. Washenik’s secretary recently about the FDA trials. She was happy to tell me what information she could. She said that the trial is a fairly big trial, one completely bald area on the scalp is being treated. She “couldn’t comment” on whether or not Aderans was using the bioabsorbable scaffolds for holding cultured cells. She said they hope to have data back before the end of 09. She also said that everyone is hoping it goes really well (this is it boys), ICX has nothing, Aderans would of bought or teamed up with ICX if they did, but the TRC procedure is flawed since it is only using DP cells. ARI has been at it for a long time folks and they have the dream team of scientists on their side. If it doesn’t happen from ARI or stem from their findings or a discovery, I don’t think anything will happen for another 10-15 years.
Please leave some feed back, I find Washenik’s secretary very nice and easy to talk to. I don’t bug her often but if any good questions arise (thanks spanish dude) I will ask next time.

Cheer up everybody. It looks like ARI is much more serious than ICX ever was about curing hair loss:
- Curing hair loss is their only reason for existence, unlike ICX that has many other projects going.
- They are running MUCH bigger trials that move much faster. Remember a while ago when everybody thought that ARI is way behind, or worse yet that they are totally out of the game because they’ve been so quiet? Well, now they’re likely to be done with 2nd round trials by the end of the year, or shortly thereafter.
- It seems they’ve done much more pre-clinical work to make sure everything checks out 100% on the pre-clinical side before moving on to human trials. Again all the while everybody here was thinking that they are out of the game.
- It may take 3-4 years to bring this to market, but we might know if it’s a slam dunk in 2-3 years. That’s not so bad is it?
