5488 Grafts, Two Sessions, Two Years, Dr. Hasson

This patient first came to us in 2003 and had 3114 grafts with Dr. Hasson and team which back then was a pretty big session. Round two was performed in 2005 for 2374 grafts. He was classified as being about a NW5A on the hair loss classification chart.

Very interesting. I never realized this before, salt n pepper hair actually makes everything look fuller and more natural.

Sorry about the issues with this video. We don’t seem to have issues with the previous ones though (unless no one is telling us otherwise). With this video, we did bake it a bit differently to try and further improve the quality. We’ll go back and redo it with our old settings to make it stream better. Again, apologies for this, but it’s your feedback that helps our video gallery to be the best in the biz.

As far as the dial-up issue goes, well, dial-up and video goes together like water and oil, especially HD video so if you want to view this or any other video for that matter I’d suggest hitting your local library. They usually have good connections.

We do have an alternative for you to look at on Youtube.com. The link is here…

Of course the quality is greatly degraded but it gets the point across.

I see nothing wrong with the UTUBE video , you say the quality is greatly degraded, this may be true, but If you had not made that comment I dont think you would have recieved one comment that the utube video was inferior quality…it is short and clear and to the point, there is nothing gained by a longer video that takes an hour to load…this is perfect and viewable easily

Hangin,

There is a point to it. The Youtube video is the exact same video as the original on our site, both in length and in content. The difference is in the quality. The quality of the video on our site is about ten times better than the version on Youtube. The video in question, as well as the last several that were uploaded before it, are shot in high definition. When we export it to our site we have to reduce the quality so that the file is small enough to stream without dedicated Flash servers that cost thousands of dollars but even with the reduced quality the final product is still far superior to an equivalent standard definition video. It’s better to have more information and scale back than to have less information and try to scale up.

All of our video production and post-production takes place in house and we’re doing the best we can. I think we’re doing pretty good considering we’ve had to learn from scratch but I know it can be better which is what we are currently looking into. The whole point of trying to make these videos as clear as possible is for the benefit of the viewer and to show that we WANT people to see our work as clearly as possible.

I do appreciate the feedback about this particular video. After all of the uploads we’ve done so far this video has shown to be the only one that has had issues and I know now that it’s because of the way we coded it, which was different than the others. As I said, we’ll re-code it on Monday and upload it again.

Well this is by far the best video i have ever seen from a clinic, i bow to H&W for this iniative and i hope all your videos are from now on of this quality.

You have never seen an honest transplant result representation from the internet until you saw this video.

All clincs should do that

Well done excellent move i wont bother to see results now on from other clinics until i see Something like this.(not the u-tube one i mean the original).

Thank you joe just EXCELLENT the standars are set from H&W

To everybody in here if you want honesty DEMAND AN H&W ALIKE VIDEO WHATEVER YOU SEE FROM OTHER CLINICS FROM NOW ON.

Definately a nice video and nice result.

Hasson and Wong always has the best video and photos in my opinion. They must have very large files cuz it does take long when loading from their site. I have DSL. Youtube is a brilliant idea, it loads immediately and the quality is not that far off. Good job.

Yep, that is great documentation and as usual a great result. I think Dr. A videos come close but this one gives all the detail that we need. I think it is better than inspection in person because it is a bit dificult asking to go through a patients hair to this extent in person.

One issue though. Imagine hair that is not of the very thick calibre of this patient. Due to the detailed nature of the video it is easy to see that the coverage would give a lot less cosmetic coverage.

Good job on the video melon head and respect ja at H&W.

Yes, very good, but the poor connection of H&W´s Server make this presentation not so good. Perhaps they can change to youtoube or get a better connection.

Nice video Jotronic. Congratulations to the doctor and patient as well as the viewers.

Regards,
Dr. A

This is a great look for him. Age appropriate and not the typical Armani helmet hair for younger folks. Jotronic can you let us know what’s his age, roughly?

The vids you folks and H&W have put up are first rate.

H&W are very good at what they do. Impressive naturalistic results on those vids.

The Greek,

Thank you for the great words of encouragement. It’s truly appreciated. If you look at the three videos in the before/after section that follows this one you will see the same quality as they too were orginally shot in 1080 HD.

Marco,

This biggest benefit this patient had was the salt & pepper shades of his hair. It lends itself to better overall coverage.

Johnp,

I cannot recall exactly but 40 or 44 comes to mind. I’ll double check on Monday.

Joe,

Could you find out a rough guide to the overall density. Thanks.

Nice result. The crown work is really good, its a hard area to work with. Is this patient planning to have any more work done?
