2.534 GRAFTS - FUE - HDC MEDICAL (6 Months)

Hello to everybody, I hope that everything went very well during 2008 for all of you but I whish a even better 2009.

The following it is another partial result obtained by one patient through the procedure performed at the HDC clinic.

The details are as follows:

  • First day: 1.420 Grafts
    -Second day: 1.114 Grafts
    -Total: 2.534 Grafts

Below you can examine the development of the procedure from before to 6 months after.

Excelent work. As good as any FUE I have seen for the number of grafts. Actually as good as any transplant (strip or FUE) for the number of grafts.

A major impression for me is that when one looks at the donor area, it becomes clear why 3000 is usually a maximum for a single FUE session as Bisanga (BHR) feels. Any more would place a high burden on the donor in a single session.

Marco, this is a very good point you are making. Many times patients of class 5 require 4000 -5000 FUE grafts and we explain to them that this is impossible in one session. The above photos show clearly why this is the case.

For patients who require fuller coverage in one visit we propose combination surgery of 3000 gr strip and 2000 gr FUE. This is a save way to achieve a fuller coverage at once, provided the patient is not against Strip.

I will be having a FUE procedure in March and I can’t get over the before and after pics of the donor area. The 6 month pics resemble a person who never had a hair transplant. It is amazing and exciting to me how advanced these procedures have gotten. Really good yield in terms of the HT too.

This is a fantastic result. Do you have any pics of the healing of the donor?

One week, two week or even three week pics would be be great just to see how quick the healing has been. For guys taking holiday time off work this crucial.

Nice work. I like how evenly the grafts were taken from the donor region. You can not notice at all any patchiness or moth ball look in the after photos.
