Hello rev,
First of all thank you for the comments, concerning the scar you have nothing to worry about, it is only 6 months, in another 6 months the patient will be able to cut his hair at 1mm without any signal of the scar, this will happen due to some reasons:
-The redness will disappear
-More hair are coming thru the scar which will make it her almost invisible
The reason to choose strip instead of FUE it were economical, it is obvious that we have nothing but respect to him concerning his decision, from our part the only thing that we can do is to do the best job possible for the future welfare of the patient regardless of the technique, number of grafts or other conditions, for us, every hair count!
The work is not bad but the fact that he likes to wear his hair short that scar is going to be a problem for him.
scars do stretch sometimes over time,if i were him i would off gone the fue route.
What is going on here. First class pics from HDC?? I didn’t think it was possible. All head angles covered in pics by HDC??? This is defying the laws of physics??? Perfect Donor pics??? I am going to have to apologise for insulting your documentors if this goes on.
Excelent demenstration of the truth of GOOD strip results. A great result and artistry.
I agree that FUE wold have been ideal but he can do that later when / if hairloss progresses and get a few extras into the scar if it is visible.
First class in my opinion. Also it looks like 60FU/Cm2

That’s what I’ve been saying all the time, it’s really not that big a deal getting strip, you save a bundle$$$ and if the scar becomes visible, you get a few extra fues into the scar.

having gone through strip i think i would have definately gone for fue with only 2200 grafts needed.
escar, do you have the density of this persons donor area because that looks like a very long strip for only 2200 grafts, my ops were smaller but the scars were nowhere near that length.

Hello guy and thank you for the comments,
I dont have the measurements right now but the strip it was not that long, in fact the strip goes from one ear to the back, not to the other ear, it is possible also to see in the after 6 months pics that in one side there is no redness.

Every hair does count. Do you all charge by the hair or graft. Also, what class of hair losss did this patient have?
Thanks Bryan for the comments, well, there is another 6 months in front during which the result will improve surely but the truth is that for 6 months the patient are very satisfied,

Hello Mwinston,
At the HDC clinic we charge per graft, independently of the number of hairs per graft, as you probably already know one graft can contain from one to five hairs, depending of the characteristics of the donor, in this sense in HDC the surgeon implant the graft intact, this way for one procedure of 3.000 grafts for example the number of hairs in average will be around 7.000 hairs.
