The guy could have used some Propecia/Avodart & Minox 5% to the temples. But he lived about 140 years ago and there was no such thing. Unfortunately he had bigger problems than his hair. He battled mental illness/depression, cut his own ear off, got locked up in a mental institution, committed suicide and died unappreciated & unrecognized as a great artist at the ripe old age of 37.

i had to steal a laugh at this thread, it was as if he was the one who started this thread, lol… he cut off his ear for art’s sake, he couldn’t perfect painting himself with that ear so he just chopped it off, thus he had no more problem of self canvases… but he do have a very sad story though…

kinda makes me want to pick up my art again. when i get paid i think i’m going to try and force myself to buy some paint. sadly, i don’t know why but my artistic motivation has a discretion of it’s own coming and going without my say-so. i wouldn’t consider myself even remotely a real artist anymore.
