This mid 40s Norwood 5 patient came to Dr. Patrick Mwamba in Belgium to treat the front and top. The patient underwent two surgeries to achieve optimal coverage. The patient didn’t follow post-op directions after the first surgery was performed, which may have affected the regrowth.
The treatment consisted of a combination of scalp and body hair grafts. The first procedure involved approximately 3500 scalp grafts, and the second procedure yielded 1300 scalp and body hair grafts. Below are photos showing the results after 5 years and results at 7 months after the second surgery. The post-op photo shows the placement of about 3500 grafts.
